About Me

I have been fascinated by wildlife for as long as I can remember. Spending time outdoors, watching animals and learning their behaviour, was always something I was drawn to, and picking up a camera felt like a natural way to hold onto those moments and share them.

A lot of my time is still spent in local woods, national parks, and wildlife hides, returning to the same places again and again. I enjoy slowing down, working with natural light, and being patient — letting moments unfold rather than forcing them. That way of working has shaped how I photograph wildlife and how I think about the images I create.

Editing plays a big part in my photography. For me, it is about finding your own style and having the confidence to lean into it. Your images are your art, and post-processing is where you can shape mood and atmosphere while staying true to the original experience.

Alongside photography, I am a post-primary teacher. Teaching people has made me comfortable explaining things clearly, keeping learning relaxed, and meeting people where they are at. I carry that into my workshops, where the focus is on enjoying the process, building confidence with your camera, and learning in a way that feels supportive rather than overwhelming.

Spending time in nature is incredibly important to me, and I genuinely believe it is important for people. Being outdoors, slowing down, and paying attention to the world around you has a value beyond photography alone. Through my work and workshops, I hope to encourage others to spend more time in nature and develop a deeper appreciation for wildlife.
