Wildlife Photography Workshops

These workshops are built around learning how to use your camera effectively in real wildlife situations. The emphasis is on practical decision-making in the field — understanding your settings, reacting to behaviour, and working with natural light and movement.

Workshops can be run one-to-one or in small groups and take place in locations such as Killarney National Park or carefully selected wildlife hides, depending on the species and conditions.

What the Workshop Focuses On

  • Setting up your camera specifically for wildlife photography

  • Choosing shutter speed, aperture, and ISO with intent

  • Using autofocus and tracking for moving and unpredictable subjects

  • Adjusting settings as light, distance, and behaviour change

  • Applying these settings while actively photographing wildlife

All guidance is hands-on and tailored to your camera and experience level, with settings adjusted together as situations unfold.
